Request for periodic inspection of cartridge heater fixing screws

This is a request and notice regarding safety measures for cartridge heaters. Please be sure to read them carefully, and if you are using the affected models, please have them inspected on a regular basis.

Observe the following tightening torque values for the fixing screws.
M5 cap screw: 7.7[N-m] M6 hollow set: 5.1 [N-m] *The structure of the cartridge heater fixed to the heater block varies depending on the production year of the pouch making machine (Refer to Photo #2). |
Position of the heater fixing screw. The cartridge heater fixing screws on older pouch making machines are located at the positions indicated by the arrows in the photo. Although there are differences depending on the type of heater block, there is always one fixing screw position per heater. The fixing structure of the cartridge heater to the heater block differs depending on the production year of the pouch making machine. Photo #2 shows the position of the cartridge heater fixing screw on a pouch making machine of a newer production year. Installation state of silicon sponge Seen in the red circle is the silicon sponge attachment area on the actual device. |
