Totani's customer was awarded a Gold Medal in Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards sponsored by Flexible Packaging Association (FPA)

On March 25 in 2010, Ampac Flexibles which is Totani's customer was awarded a Gold Medal for a Retortable, Sustainable Fruit Stand Up Pouch shipped to Tamaya Gourmet (Chile) in Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards sponsored by the FPA.

High quality, economic efficiency and resource saving of this Retortable Stand Up Pouch made on a Totani BH-60 machine was appreciated, as described below.

• Serious cost reduction (The cost of eight 500-ml glass bottles is equivalent to that of 143 one-liter pouches)
• Leftover fruit can be saved in this eco-friendly pouch (23% film reduction compared to the existing pouches)
• This pouch can be cut easily without scissor and the pouch with zipper can be opened
• This retortable pouch cannot be broken unlike bottle and can endure high temperature of 80 to 120 ℃
